T-ATS

The Automatic Test System (ATS) provides the self-diagnostic capability with automatic digital output functions. Input status may be monitored. All output load connections status under the multiplexing control system can be automatically tested.

The self-diagnostic system has the following safeguards that must be observed before diagnosis may begin:

  • The parking brake must be in the on position.
  • The engine must be running.
  • The air system must be charged to minimum requirements.
  • The transmission must be in the neutral position.
  • The alternator must be charging.
  • The driver may be in the driver's seat (optional).

The operator can interrupt a test in progress at any time by depressing the emergency “Start Switch2”. The test will be terminated immediately. The test normally requires less than five minutes from start to completion. On the test's completion the operator will be notified of any faults via an LED Indicator Panel.

The following items may be programmed, checked, and recorded:
  • All exterior lights including headlights, stop lights, turn signals, backup lights, marker lights and hazard flashers.
  • All interior lights including dome lights, stepwell lights, instrument panel, and indicators.
  • The front and rear door operations.
  • The kneel, distress, or any other warning systems.
  • All audible signals such as horns, fire alarms, back-up alarms, and/or stop request.
  • Wheel chair power operations (optional items).
  • Braking inter-locking system.
Module Features:
  • For control and monitoring of devices.
  • 72 low level LED output.
  • Each point assigned as an output point.
  • Non-isolated IO.
  • Acts as note in DINEX network.
